The afro-pop legend sat down with The Net NG, and was asked about the incident.. 2face didn’t fail to blame Davido’s friendly attitude for the incident.

According to him, Davido’s jolly attitude landed him in such circumstance.

He said: “When things like this happen I say it’s an unfortunate circumstance, nobody plans for stuff like that.Davido.

“So many things come to your head when kinds of stuff like this starts happening
“But two things are, keep your straight be grateful for friends and your creator

(VIDEO):- “97% of Nigerian music have no meaning” – Omotunde Adebowale David, Lolo1(Wazobia FM)

Nigerian actress and OAP, Omotunde Adebowale David aka Lolo1 in a recent interview with Hip TV has disclosed that most Nigerian songs of this age have no meaning.

She revealed that 97% of the present music we listen to in Nigeria at the moment has no meaning using Olamide‘s ‘WO’ as an example and added that they are not children-friendly.

She said:
I’m not sure if they’re passing any message because if you are looking at the content of music, what will you say you’re buying? It’s not that everybody talks crap but 97% of it has no meaning. ‘Bangdadadang’, what does that mean? ‘Skibidipapap’, doesn’t have any meaning, ‘Wo!’, it’s just play, we are just having [fun]
“It’s not like the music of Obey, Barrister, Sunny Ade, they had depth, they had what they wanted to pass, even though we have people here in this current generation that are doing conscious music, Fela was a great advocate, he did a lot of social impact in music.. but in this generation, i’m not sure.

“It Was Just Strategy To Promote The Song, ‘Yeba'” – Kiss Daniel Insights On Instagram Comedy Skits.

G-Worldwide Entertainment music act, Kiss Daniel for some time been sharing comedy skits on his Instagram page – which are actually hilarious – which has left people surprised, as no one knew he had that side to him.

As expected, this led people to speculate if the singer has plans to make a career switch to comedy someday.

But speaking to Punch’s Sunday Scoop, K.D says the reason behind those videos was to promote his single at that time -“Yeba”.

In his own words:

I have no plans to delve into comedy; music is my major talent. If you listen to my new song, Yeba, you would notice that there are traces of comedy in it. You would also note that I started uploading those comedy skits about a month before Yeba was released, so it was just a strategy to promote the song. It was a means of creating awareness.

The singer shared a photo of his meet with the Agolo singer, all smiles and all, looking like he hadn’t suffered a tragedy before getting to SA and so fans were unhappy about this as they took to the comment section to whip him some strokes.

'I don’t think men and women are equal' - Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage performs at Made In America concert

Pop star Tiwa Savage knows her position on gender discrimination won't make her everyone's favourite singer, but she needed to put it out there - she does not think men and women are the same.

The Mavin Records diva made her submission during a chat on "The Midday Show" with The Beat FM's Tolu 'Toolz' Oniru who engaged her in a discussion on the subject.

Savage acknowledged that women in all societies often have to exert a lot of energy into their exceptional achievements but does this actually differ from what applies to men? For her, powerful women like Oprah Winfrey and Mo Abudu represent a category of women who went through extreme measures to actualize their goals.
It’s real. I’m not going to say I’m completely comfortable with it but it is what it is. You have to deal with it. If it means you have to work 10 times harder than your male counterparts, don’t complain about it, do what you have to do.

We all celebrate people like Oprah and Mo Abudu and we don’t actually realize what they have to do to get to that point. They probably had to do 20 times than their male counterparts.

Once you get there, you don’t complain about how you get there. So, whatever it is you have to do as a female, you just have to get it done," she said.

Men and women are not the same

Individuals and groups advocating for equal opportunities for both men and women are going to get a kick out of her comment, but it will be impressive to some that Savage hasn't lost her orientation as an African woman despite her huge star figure.
She took the reflection of a submissive wife after adding one more stand, taking the biblical route that emphasizes on a man being the natural head of a woman as the creation story would have it.

The singer already has so much going for her. She is a member of the star cast of the Mavin dynasty whose artistes have become leading figures in African entertainment. Her nonresistance and respect for culture is no doubt going to score her more points in the caucus of ethics adherents based on her non Europeanized beliefs.

The singer emphasized that women must submit to their husbands at home.

She is proof that one might have lived most part of one's life in a western society but it doesn't have to translate into a total desertion of one's African origin.

"I know I’ll ruffle a few feathers but I also don’t think men and women are equal, I don’t think that’s how God created us that way… especially in the household anyway.

"So I think as females when we realize that yeah we can be strong in our career, but when we are home we have to realize that the man is the head of the house," the music star ended her comments.

Tiwa Savage is a hard working lady herself. Not a lot of people would raise their brows if she decides to be cocky and names herself as one of the influential women leading the drive for success in African societies. She has pretty much earned that right. Why do you think a DJ Khaleed had nice things to say about her?

Olamide is Nigeria’s highest paid artiste

Seasoned artiste manager, Alex Ozone, has declared that YBNL henchman, Olamide, aka Badoo, is currently the highest paid Nigerian artiste when it comes to performing at international shows.

In a recent chat with Showtime on the amount Nigerian artistes charge as performance fee for shows in the UK and United States, Alex who wields 17-years wealth of experience in artiste management, exporting Nigerian music abroad through his management company, 03 Media, argued that though Davido, Wizkid, Tekno, Kiss Daniel and others are worth a fortune but Olamide is the most expensive.

The business doesn’t have a fixed price, it depends on the artiste; I cannot tell you how much each of them is worth. But like I told you, I have worked with Wizkid, Tekno, Oritsefemi, Patoranking, Davido, Terry G, Kiss Daniel, YQ, Skales, Olamide, and Timaya. They are all good, they know their worth, but in the whole world Olamide has the highest rate”, he declared.

Jude Okoye and wife, Ifeoma welcome their 2nd child, a baby girl, in the U.S

The Eldest Brother of the PSquare group, Jude Okoye has welcomed another baby girl with his wife, Ifeoma Umuokeke, in the United States.

They have since named her Chisom.

This is coming after Peter wrote to their lawyer, and demand a PSquare split, after he alleged that his elder brother, Jude is after his life.Jude Okoye’s wife,

“According to Peter, Paul is no longer willing to co-operate with him, even going as far as cancelling their planned US tour this year without informing him, and he (Peter) has exhausted all options to make it work.

He also accused Paul of slandering his wife and children with lies on social media, and alleged that they’ve now been receiving threatening messages. Peter further accused his older brother Jude of once threatening to kill him and shoot his wife Lola. This allegedly happened in the presence of Paul and former first lady of Cross River state Mrs Imoke. Jude allegedly also threatened to bring a coffin for him (Peter) if he ever comes near his house.”

Neither of the brothers have spoken up since this allegation surfaced

Sarkodie Advises Men To Marry Actress, Martha Ankomah Type of Lady To Avoid Trouble

The ‘collapse’ of Ghana Movie Industry has compelled most of the actors, actresses and producers to venture into other avenues to fill their pockets.

Interestingly on the part of the actresses, some have turned into ‘slaying‘ because they’ve virtually become redundant.

However, actress Martha Ankomah has been living a life worthy of emulation as per how she carries herself of late.

This has caught the attention of many industry players especially rapper Sarkodie who in a new song with Criss Kwaku Waddle titled ‘Bɔkɔɔ deɛ’ has lauded Martha Ankomah for her character.

According to Sarkodie, Ghanaian men must invest in ladies who possess the character trait of the actress for a reason only known to him. Well, this recommendation might be born out of the descent appearance put forth by Martha Ankomah of late.

Sika deɛ m’anya bi na investment nkoara na me yɛ. Me de bi koraa rebɛhyɛ Martha Ankomah mu.

Well, do you think Martha Ankoma’s replica will be a very good wife for Ghanaian men as recommend by Sarkodie?

Arguably, listen to the song which was recorded in the Ghanaian native language below and tell us your side of the story…lol

Na wah oh this life sha even Akporo that I see as a big bro hating on me. You’ll never know who wants to see you fall. God is with us.

@akpororo nobody is scared of you on this side. You are a loser and a never do well. Your jokes will put you in trouble and will make you get shot. Watch your mouth and things you say about the king of the south @yung6ix.
