12 months after, DSS releases 2 IPOB members Mohamed, Onuorah (photo)

- They were arrested in Port Harcourt, Rivers state on July 9, 2016
The Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday, June 23, released two members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Henry Onuorah and Baseh Mohammed were arrested on July 9, 2016, in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
They were said to have been released after rigorous legal efforts made by Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the counsel to the IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu.
Two members of the Indigenous People of Biafra have been released by the DSS
The leader of the IPOB was also released on April 28, after spending one year and six months in detention
The IPOB members are Henry Onuorah and Baseh Mohammed
Kanu who was arrested by the DSS in October 2015, was released after a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja granted him bail.
