Manchester United Reach Verbal Agreement With James Rodriguez

Man United transfer news includes the latest on James Rodriguez at Real Madrid.

Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with James Rodriguez.

Spanish outlet Diario Gol reports that the Colombian has been told he is free to leave Real Madrid after 'showdown talks'.

Rodriguez has been heavily linked with United and the report suggests he has now agreed to join Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

But the two clubs are yet to agree a fee - and Real Madrid are reportedly holding out for £61m for the Colombian they signed to a six year deal in July 2014.

The 25-year-old Rodriguez struggled for minutes under new manager Zinedine Zidane, and although he scored 11 goals in 32 games last term, he made just 13 league starts amid strong competition for places and did not make the match-day squad for the Champions League final victory in Cardiff.

Elsewhere, Telefoot claims that Borussia Dortmund will part with striker Ousmane Dembele - but have set the asking price at £79m.

United and Chelsea have both been linked with the 20-year-old's signature after he scored 10 goals and chalked up 18 assists last season in his first year in Germany.
