Gareth Bale Reportedly Has Secrete Agreement To Join Man United Next Summer

Back in May, Real Madrid star Gareth Bale had reportedly asked for a transfer away from the club, amid rumors that Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane were going to reduce his role at the club. While Bale was linked with a host of clubs including Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris-Saint Germain, Manchester United was the most commonly mentioned club. With the Red Devils looking for reinforcements in their attack, the former Tottenham Hotspur star was discussed as a potential option. While the rumors eventually ended up amounting to nothing, recent reports suggest that if Bale does end up receiving less playing time, he has already come up with a solution.

According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon via the Express, Bale has an agreement with United that could see the Welsh international join United next summer. It has been said that Bale wishes to play at the Santiago Bernabeu for another reason, however if his injury troubles continue or if Isco continues to receive the bulk of the playing time, he will likely end up joining United at the end of the season. Another factor that could contribute in his departure is if Real end up signing Monaco star Kylian Mbappe.

United has tried to sign Bale since Sir Alex Ferguson was manager, as he reportedly was looking into signing Bale back when he was a youngster in Southampton's academy. David Moyes also tried signing Bale when he was appointed United manager, although despite offering more money than Real, Spurs opted to tell their superstar away from the Premier League.

Despite the rumors, as of now, Bale has denied wanting a United move, saying that he is happy with Real and that he has not received an offer from them. "The truth is that I do not read any of that. Logically I am a British player and I am always linked with a return home," he told Spanish newspaper Marca when asked about United's interest. "It happened with Beckham, with other Englishmen who came to Spain. Nothing new. I am happy playing in Madrid, logically interest is interest, but if there has been nothing concrete, no offer, there is nothing to discuss."
