Real Madrid Keen To Break Record By Signing Mbappe

AS Monaco’s young sensation, Kylian Mbappe is all set to break the record of the most expensive football player in history, as Spanish giants Real Madrid are looking to capture the youngster for a record €130 million. The Los Merengues are looking to seal the deal for the Frenchman, as Alvaro Morata is reportedly heading towards England.

According to various reports, Real Madrid will pay a record-fee for Mbappe this summer, rather than waiting another year, where the striker will enter into his last year of the contract. The Spanish giants do not want to have the same situation of Gabriel Jesus, who signed for Manchester City, after heavy interest from Real.

Kylian Mbappe is believed to be a huge fan of Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 18-year-old had a remarkable debut season last campaign, as he netted the ball 26 times, while also setting up 14 more goals throughout all competitions. His incredible goals also led AS Monaco to the Ligue 1 trophy, while also helping the French team reach the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.

After his brilliant performances, the striker had been linked with big clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain, while Real Madrid are believed to be attracted the most by the youngster. Zinedine Zidane, who himself is a Frenchman, is willing to sign Mbappe, as he sees a bright future ahead of the striker.

His club, AS Monaco, however, are stubborn enough not to sell the striker for anything less than €130m, if they are to sell him this summer. Real Madrid are believed to have bid €110m for the 18-year-old earlier this window, which was rejected immediately by AS Monaco.
